ミンモナ ブロムスタンド デザイン

テキスタイルアーティストのモナ ヨハンソン（1934-2005）は、スウェーデンの港湾都市ヨーテボリで育ちました。
1953年から1955年にかけて、ボローズにある女性パタンナーとデザイナーを養成するテキスタイルコースにて修行し、1955年からは、ヨーテボリにあるハンディクラフト協会のテキスタイルアート教育の特別学生として、2年間学びました。その後すぐにモナはフリーランスのテキスタイルアーティストとして活躍し、布やカーテン、壁紙などのパターンをデザインしました。
現在そのデザインは娘のピアによって復刻され、「ミンモナ – 繫栄するデザイン 」として、新たな注目を集めています。

Textile artist Mona Johansson (1934-2005) Grew up in Gothenburg. She trained 1953-1955 at the textile institute’s course for female pattern designers and designers in Borås. This was followed by two years as a special student at the handicraft association’s education in textile art in Gothenburg 1955-1958. Mona worked as a freelance textile artist immediately after the education and designed patterns for cloths and curtains but also wallpaper.
